HTML 5 features

HTML work on five started in 2004 and after five years, we are still no where near the final draft. January Hickson, co-editor of HTML 5 says that we may have to wait until 2022 for the final project. But still, even at this stage of its development, HTML has much to offer. I listed the five most interesting features of the language: 1. Element Video You can insert a video on a page with the same amount of ease that you could insert an image with five HTML code. And what is better is you can manipulate video and video controls built and certainly do not want to rely on third party code to insert a video. 2. Canvas canvas in simple terms can be described as a drawable area on the height and width HTML features. dynamically generated graphics new feature offers HTML 5. It can be employed to develop graphics, photography is composition, or to make it easy (or difficult) animations. All this again can be done without having to depend on an external plug in. 3. Geo-location geo-lo
cation API allows you to share your location with trusted web sites. The main points where you are available on JavaScript. Sources of information included location-Global Positioning System (GPS) and network signals such as WiFi, Bluetooth, IP address for example. This feature can be sued only if a user gives permission to use this application. 4. Application caches This feature allows you to store web applications (such as e-mail) and access without needing to connect to the Internet. Google Gears (offline access helps Gmail) is an implementation of HTML codes for five applications cached. 5. Hyper-Threading for web browsers with this feature, run separate wires can be used for processing without affecting the performance of a web page. This is very useful for applications with heavy rely on scripts to perform such functions above features of HTML 5 (the rest) have compatibility issues with some browsers (IE in particular). HTML five is still under development and some cha
racteristics were not fully presented. However, it is still very helpful with extra features they offer compared to its previous characteristics.
