Sports Management course for MBA Programs at Olin features all-star speaker

Multi-million dollar professional sports contracts are the norm these days, but what about the back office? Who is the first time when it comes to negotiating those contracts and to come up with the game plan for a franchise team? Students at Olin Business School are learning answers from top sports managers in the world at a popular course timed to coincide with the start of baseball season. While fans jostle for the best seats behind home plate or the shortest line at the concession stand, Olin students are meeting with professionals in \' Sports Management \', course taught by Professor of Finance, Todd Milbourn. The course is one of the most popular elective classes for MBA students, who welcome the opportunity to meet, learn and network with heavy hitters in sports industry.The line all-star guest speakers for this semester include: • Seth Abraham, former Time Warner's HBO Sports president and Madison Square Garden, founder and head of the Starship SA (March 23, April
